The Toronto-based operator of sustainable small-group adventure travel programs, is opening a U.S. headquarters and mounting a major sales push into the U.S. market headed by U.S. General Manager Cyndi Zesk who says America is ready for GAP. "By opening a U.S. office, Gap Adventures provides U.S. travel agents a chance to compete against direct sales small-group and adventure travel companies,” said Zesk. “For the first time, U.S. travel agents will have wide access to more than 1,000 travel programs that appeal to the adventurous baby boom generation who do not want to be herded on traditional escorted tours.
