Libya just re-opened to US travelers and it’s the perfect time to join Travel Director Jane Vermeulen for an online presentation about Travcoa journeys to Libya. After four years of constant work to secure visas for our travelers, we’re now able to offer six, small-group Travcoa departure dates for fall 2010 or the opportunity to travel independently on the date of your choosing.
Travel through Libya is one of the world’s great historical and cultural journeys, with places that are central to the history of the Mediterranean and the great trade empires of the Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans. The wealth and power of those ancient cities is still clearly seen at extraordinary archeological sites in Tripoli, Sabratha and amazing Leptis Magna along with fascinating insight into cultures, vast desert landscapes and beautiful coastal vistas.
Travcoa has great experience and connections in Libya – we offered Escorted Journeys until 1969 and again in 2004–2005 and each of those Escorted Journeys was a sell-out. Interest remains great so travelers are advised act quickly – many of our past guests have been waiting for this moment and it’s impossible to know how long this opportunity may last or when it may occur again.
